1. Add Canva to Vega
- Sign in to Vega at vega.zumy.ai (or open the Vega desktop app). New to Vega? Get it here.
- Open Plugins in the sidebar and search for Canva.
- Click Add, then Connect. Canva opens and asks you to sign in and allow Vega.
- Review the permissions and click Allow. You return to Vega, which shows Canva as connected.
2. Use it
Ask Vega in a new task. With Canva connected, Vega can:
- Find your Canva designs by title and show their details and links.
- Export a design as PDF, PNG, JPG, GIF, PPTX or MP4 for you to download. The design itself does not change.
- List your team’s brand templates and the fields they can be filled with (Canva Enterprise).
- Create a new design, or fill a brand template with your content, only after you approve it.
Try:
- “Find the Q3 sales deck in my Canva.”
- “Make a social post in Canva from my brand template.”
Before Vega changes anything in Canva, it shows you exactly what it will do and waits for you to approve or decline.
3. What Vega can access
Vega asks Canva for these permissions, and only uses them for tasks you start:
profile:readdesign:meta:readdesign:content:readdesign:content:writebrandtemplate:meta:readbrandtemplate:content:read
How Vega handles the data it reads from connected services is in the Vega privacy policy.
4. Remove Canva
- In Vega, open Plugins → Manage, find Canva and click Remove. Vega stops using the connection and deletes its access token.
- To also revoke access on the Canva side: In Canva, open Settings → Integrations (canva.com/settings/integrations), find Vega and click Disconnect.
After removal, Vega can no longer read or change anything in your Canva account. To delete data Vega kept from your tasks, see the privacy policy or delete your account.
